Classes and workshops will be held Friday, September 14, and Saturday, September 15th, 2012, from 8:30am-4:00pm.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  September 10th, 2012

Please read all of the information below CAREFULLY.

REGISTRATION FORM: Print the registration form found at the top of the page, fill it out, and call, mail, or take it in to the Harms Advanced Technology Center (HATC).

Please DO NOT mail it to Brown Sheep Co.  HATC is handling ALL registrations this year.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Participants must pre-register for all workshops.  You must make full payment, including lunch (optional), at the time of registration.  Cash, credit/debit card, or check (made out to WNCC) will be accepted as payment.

LUNCH: There will be a lunch break from 11:30am-1:00pm.  Be sure to circle the lunch option on the registration form that you are choosing.  There will be designated areas for you to sit, eat, work on projects, visit with our instructors, and just relax! If you choose to lunch on your own, there are many good restaurant choices close by.  Ask if you would like suggestions or directions.

MATERIALS FEE: For some classes, a materials fee is listed. This fee covers the cost of materials provided by the teacher in the classroom. This fee is in addition to the class fee and should be paid to the instructor on the day of class. Please bring correct change or check made out to the instructor.  Absolutely no debit or credit cards will be accepted for materials fee payments.

AGE REQUIREMENTS/ATTENDANCE: Children and guests are not allowed to attend workshops.  Only pre-paid students will have a seat reserved.  You must be 14 years or older to register.
PLEASE NOTE:  The Soap Making and French Milling Workshop has a minimum age requirement of 18 years or older.

SKILL LEVEL: Be sure to take note of the recommended skill level for each class.  You MUST meet the minimum skill requirements or you will not be able to continue with the class.

If you are in doubt as to whether you meet the skill level prerequisites or have other questions, contact the instructor of the class first via their email, and either Donna or Peggy next, if you do not hear from the instructor.  The Harms Center is really only able to take your information and answer basic questions about the classes.  They are not necessarily knowledgeable about the details and content of each class.

PRE-CLASS HOMEWORK: Some classes have pre-class homework.  You must have it completed before classes begin in order to participate.

You must also be sure to have the required supplies.  All spinning, weaving, quilting, and machine knitting students will be required to provide their own wheel, loom, and sewing or knitting machine.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are subject to cancellation by the SBVFAF Education Committee and HATC if 75% enrollment is not met.  HATC will notify you by phone or email in the event that a class is cancelled.  Full refunds will be given.

No refunds will be given after September 10, 2012 if the student cancels for any reason.

his is the preliminary Workshop schedule for the 2011 event. It is subject to change until we have

received signed contracts back from the instructors. We will announce the names of those teachers,

post their biographies, and offer detailed information as soon as the classes are confirmed.

Workshop registration forms will be made available at that time.

PLEASE NOTE: Registrations will not be accepted until the forms are posted online.
