Vendor Application

Greetings fellow fiber enthusiasts!

We now have five fiber fairs behind us and are in the process of planning the 5th!  The date for the 2014 fair will be Saturday, September 13, 2014.

We will be returning to our previous venue:
Scotts Bluff County Event Center
130625 County Rd. East
Mitchell, NE  69357

Booth space is limited and jury selection will be used to determine the final mix of vendors.  The application is available now.

Deadline for Application: July 1, 2014
Accepted applicants will be notified by July 9, 2014

If selected, vendor packets will be sent out with detailed information and guidelines.  We request that each selected vendor provide one $25.00 item for a silent auction item that raises money for the fair and a $25.00 item for a door prize.

Our Sponsors Nebraska’s Landmark Country and  Brown Sheep Company are teaming up to host a celebration of all things fiber.

We will offer a fully interactive experience with educational demonstrations such as knitting, spinning, crocheting, weaving, needle felting, rug hooking, quilting, hands-on projects for children and adults, locally and regionally-produced goods for sale, art work, fiber art supplies, informational and instructional resources, and animals on display that produce the natural fibers we love to work with.

Our mission is:

  • To inspire people to discover and cultivate their talents for creativity with fiber
  • To explore the history and importance of fiber and textile arts in our communities and our lives
  • To foster inter-generational connections
  • To  share new techniques and project ideas
  • To provide opportunities for shopping for hand-made, unique gifts and collectibles
  • To offer fun, excitement, education, and relaxation for fiber enthusiasts and the general public

Class information will be made available at a later date.

We will be advertising in a 4-5 state region as well as nationally.
