Silk Ribbon Embroidered Hummingbird with Beads

Silk Ribbon Embroidered Hummingbird with Beads

Class Description: A red-throated light and dark blue hummingbird hovers over a colorful Silk Luster Ribbon flower and two buds. Iridescent EdMar rayon threads are used for leaves and greenery and seed beads add sparkle. Students will learn how to work with Silk Luster Ribbon, EdMar rayon threads and attaching seed beads to fabric. The soft ribbon allows the students to stitch multiple layers of ribbon. The design will then be mounted in a Flexi-Hoop for stitching. A professional, drum tight backing will complete the project.
